Jane lee

Jane Lee is a broadcast student at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism. She graduated from Washington and Lee University in 2009 with a bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism and a concentration in art history. During her time at Washington and Lee, she produced, reported and anchored for the Rockbridge Report, the university television program broadcast throughout Rockbridge County, Va. She completed her undergraduate multimedia thesis on the sub-prime loan fallout in Lexington, Va., and produced a short documentary film on the alcohol culture of southern Virginia universities.

She is an active member of Kappa Delta Sorority, the Asian American Journalists Association and the Society of Professional Journalists. She interned for U.S. Senator Charles Grassley, the Reeves Center with Washington and Lee University Special Collections, and NBC Universal in Boston. Upon graduation, she hopes to focus on international reporting, with a specialization in East Asian affairs.
