Edward Chun

Edward Chun, a Chicago native, has spent the majority of his career in the entertainment industry. After graduating from The University of Rochester with a double degree in English and film studies, he worked in Los Angeles as a film editor and trailer cutter. He moved to South Korea in 2003 and served as a composer, music director and album producer for several television dramas. His rock musical The Club (a.k.a. The After Midnight Club) was produced in 2005 and 2007. He also composed the soundtrack for a children’s storybook, released in 2009.
Chun was also a program host and writer for Arirang Radio, an English-language radio station based in Seoul, from 2005 to 2007. He has interviewed a diverse range of musicians, including various Korean pop singers and minimalist composer Philip Glass.
He is a currently a master’s student at the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York City.
